Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse chickpeas thoroughly under cold water.
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. If too thick, add 1–2 tbsp of cold water until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika on top.
  6. Serve with pita chips or veggie sticks.
