Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium Yukon Gold potatoes (about 300g)
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 113g)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the potatoes into thin rounds (about 1/4 inch thick). Soak in water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. In a large bowl, toss the sliced potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Cook bacon in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes until crispy. Let cool, then crumble.
  5. Layer half of the potato slices in the air fryer basket. Top with half of the crumbled bacon and half of the cheese.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with optional toppings like green onions or sour cream.
