  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • Red and green food coloring

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans and line them with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and softened butter until smooth. Gradually combine with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Divide batter between pans and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  5. For frosting, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth; add food coloring to achieve desired shades.
  6. Layer cooled cakes with frosting in between and on top; decorate creatively as a reindeer.
