  • 3 lbs boneless pork shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut it into large chunks.
  2. In a bowl, mix smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice blend generously over the pork pieces.
  3. Place the seasoned pork in the crockpot along with sliced onions and minced garlic. Pour barbecue sauce over everything.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the pork is tender.
  5. Shred the pork using two forks and mix it back into the juices in the pot.
  6. Serve on slider buns topped with coleslaw.
