Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture, alternating with milk until just mixed.
  5. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for about 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  6. For frosting, beat together powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Frost cooled cupcakes generously and decorate with red and green sprinkles.
