  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed
  • 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onions and minced garlic for about five minutes.
  2. Add the diced bell peppers and cook for another three minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the canned tomatoes and rinsed beans until well combined.
  4. Pour in the beef broth along with cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer for about twenty minutes.
