  • 1 cup diced apples (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and granulated sugar.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  7. Scoop generous portions onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with warm caramel sauce.
