  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet with 1 tbsp butter for about 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat; sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, stirring until warmed.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then add Gorgonzola, whisking until smooth.
  5. Toss cooked fettuccine in the sauce, then fold in sliced steak.
  6. Serve garnished with extra Gorgonzola if desired.
