  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For Coating: 1/2 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix apple cider, melted butter, and eggs until smooth; then combine with dry ingredients until just blended.
  4. Fill donut molds halfway with batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Roll warm donuts in cinnamon-sugar mixture before serving.
