  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sliced dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 3 sesame seed hamburger buns, crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion for about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the ketchup and mustard; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Layer half of the beef mixture in the prepared baking dish, followed by half of the cheese and a layer of pickles. Repeat with the remaining beef and cheese.
  5. Top with crushed sesame seed buns for added texture.
