Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 sprigs culinary-grade fresh lavender
  • Juice of 1 medium lemon (about ¼ cup)
  • 1 packet pectin (1.75 oz)

Instructions

  1. Rinse blueberries under cold water, pat dry, and remove any stems.
  2. In a small saucepan, simmer half a cup of water with lavender for about 5 minutes to infuse.
  3. In a large pot, combine rinsed blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and lavender-infused water (discard lavender).
  4. Heat over medium until boiling; reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Stir in pectin according to package instructions until dissolved.
  6. Pour hot jam into sterilized jars and seal tightly. Let cool before refrigerating.
