  • 6 cups stale bread cubes (French, challah, or brioche)
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or butter.
  3. Cut stale bread into 1-inch cubes.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
