  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, add remaining batter on top, then sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Gently swirl through the batter using a knife or spatula.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
