Classic Sliders are the perfect bite-sized burgers that bring joy to any gathering.   • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • 8 slider buns
  • 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
  • 1 medium ripe tomato, sliced
  • ½ cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper; form into small patties slightly larger than buns.
  2. Cook patties on the grill for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Avoid pressing down to keep juices intact.
  3. Add cheese on top of patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  4. Meanwhile, toast slider buns until golden brown.
  5. Assemble sliders by layering lettuce, cheesy patty, sliced tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom bun; cap with the top bun.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
