  • 8 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Oil for frying (enough to submerge the wontons)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  2. Place one tablespoon of the mixture on each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold to seal.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pot to about 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry wontons in batches until golden brown, around 2 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
