  • 1 cup crumbled Italian sausage
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a pie dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and crumbled sausage for about 5–7 minutes; drain excess grease.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the meat mixture; sauté until onions are translucent, about 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Roll out half of the pie crust into the prepared dish. Layer half of the meat mixture, half of the cheese, and half of the pepperoni. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover with the second layer of pie crust, sealing edges and cutting slits for ventilation. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
