  • 2 cups broccoli stems, peeled and chopped

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cube it.
  3. Toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated tofu on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and chili flakes; simmer until thickened.
  6. Toss baked tofu with the sauce and broccoli stems in a large bowl before serving hot.
