This easy-to-make dish layers seasoned ground beef, creamy ricotta, and gooey mozzarella between oven-ready lasagna noodles, all smothered in rich marinara sauce. With minimal prep and cleanup, you can serve up hearty portions that will satisfy the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 12 oven-ready lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of the sheet pan. Layer half of the lasagna noodles on top, followed by half of the ricotta (mixed with a pinch of salt), then half of the browned beef.
  4. Repeat layering with remaining noodles, marinara sauce, ricotta, and beef. Top generously with mozzarella and sprinkle Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
