Instructions

  1. Rinse scallops under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until bubbling.
  3. Season scallops with salt and pepper; sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat and add garlic; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in remaining butter, parsley, thyme, and lemon juice. Toss scallops to coat.
