Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil. Sauté the onions and green pepper until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Push veggies aside and add steak; season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until just browned (about 5 minutes).
  3. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about an inch thick.
  4. Spread the sautéed mixture evenly over the dough and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Roll dough tightly from one long side to the other; pinch ends to seal. Place seam-side down on the prepared sheet and brush with remaining olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before slicing.
