Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, honey, heavy cream, and pasta; stir to combine and bring to a gentle boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Stir in remaining butter for extra creaminess, taste, and adjust seasoning before serving.
