  • ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 10 pretzel twists (for antlers)
  • 10 red M&M’s (for noses)
  • 20 candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture while alternating with milk until smooth.
  5. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  6. Frost each cupcake generously with chocolate frosting, then add pretzel twists for antlers, red M&M’s for noses, and candy eyes.
