  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Your favorite BBQ sauce (for glazing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker or grill to 250°F (120°C).
  2. In a large bowl, coat the chicken wings with olive oil. Add sweet and smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until well coated.
  3. Place the seasoned wings on the grill grates and smoke for about 1.5 hours.
  4. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush the wings generously with BBQ sauce.
  5. Check for doneness; wings should reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F (75°C).
  6. Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
