  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 6 oz strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine crushed pretzels and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form the crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in Cool Whip until well combined. Spread evenly over the pretzel crust.
  3. Layer sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water according to package instructions; allow to cool slightly before pouring over the strawberries.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
  6. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
