  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.

  3. Remove the shrimp from the skillet; add lemon juice and remaining butter to create the sauce.
  4. Return the shrimp to the skillet along with drained linguine; toss gently, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Season with parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
