Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound flank or sirloin steak
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot; add salt and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper, searing for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly, and simmer for about three minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Slice rested steak thinly against the grain. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet along with sliced steak and Parmesan cheese; toss to combine.
