  • 2 cans (15 oz each) navy beans, drained
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy; remove excess grease.
  3. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  4. In a large bowl, combine the drained navy beans with the bacon and onions. Stir in ketchup, molasses, mustard, brown sugar, and garlic powder until well mixed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 1 hour, removing the foil halfway through.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
