  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk and eggs until well blended. Gradually add to the dry mixture, stirring until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Test the oil with a small amount of batter; it should bubble immediately.
  4. Using a piping bag or squeeze bottle, pipe swirling shapes into the hot oil (about five inches long). Fry until golden brown on both sides, approximately two minutes per side.
  5. Remove with tongs and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.
