  • 2 duck breasts (approximately 500g)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the duck breasts dry and score the skin in a crisscross pattern.
  2. In an oven-safe skillet over medium heat, sear the duck breasts skin-side down for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Flip them over.
  3. In a bowl, combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
  4. Pour half of the sauce over the duck breasts and transfer to the oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Brush with remaining sauce before serving and drizzle extra glaze on plates.
