For the Dough

  • 1 cup Warm Water 105°-115°F
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar Feeds the yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt For flavor
  • 2 tsps Yeast Active dry yeast
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour For structure

For the Topping

  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter Half goes in dough
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Finely grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt For garlic flavor
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning Aromatic herbs

Instructions
 

Making the Breadsticks

  • Combine warm water, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Let this mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes bubbly.
  • Using a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms. Cover with a towel and let it proof in a warm place for 30-45 minutes.
  • Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Press the risen dough into the prepared sheet pan, spreading evenly.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning.
  • Allow the dough to rise again for about 15-20 minutes until slightly puffed.
  • Slice the dough into desired sizes and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the breadsticks cool for a few minutes before serving.
