How to Make Shrimp Alfredo

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of oil and sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, toss in minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently.
  • Once the heavy cream begins to bubble, gradually mix in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine straight to the sauce, tossing gently to coat each noodle. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  • Fold the cooked shrimp back into the pasta, allowing everything to heat through for about a minute. Serve immediately.
