Equipment

  • Skillet

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Can substitute with thighs for extra juiciness.

For the Gnocchi

  • 1 pound Potato Gnocchi Frozen gnocchi can be used; may require longer cooking time.

For the Sauce

  • 4 cloves Garlic Fresh cloves provide the best flavor when minced.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Half-and-half or dairy-free cream can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated cheese is recommended.

Instructions

Directions

  • Pat the boneless skinless chicken breasts dry and season them generously with salt and pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes per side, until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and allow it to rest. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant and lightly golden.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and add freshly grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir to combine and let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  • Add the potato gnocchi to the sauce, stirring gently. Cook until the gnocchi float to the surface, which usually takes around 2-5 minutes, indicating they’re perfectly done.
  • Slice the rested chicken breasts and return them to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat the chicken and gnocchi in the creamy garlic sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For an extra cheesy experience, top with some extra Parmesan.
