Baking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  • In the same baking pan, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  • Make three wells in the dry mix with a spoon.
  • Pour oil, water, and vinegar into the wells and mix until just combined.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can enhance the flavor with vanilla extract or instant coffee. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
