Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 1 pound shaved steak pre-cut for quick cooking
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
  • 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt or your favorite seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder use more if you love garlic
  • 1 medium green bell pepper substitute with any color
  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 1 medium yellow onion white onion works in a pinch
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce adds rich umami flavor
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese or Swiss or mozzarella

For the Sliders

  • 12 pieces slider buns Hawaiian or brioche
  • 4 tablespoons butter for brushing, can mix with garlic powder and parsley

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shaved steak, cooking until browned.
  • In the same skillet, sauté sliced green and red bell peppers with the yellow onion until tender.
  • Combine the cooked beef with the sautéed vegetables and add Worcestershire sauce, mix thoroughly.
  • Slice the slider rolls in half. Layer the bottom with provolone cheese, then add the beef and veggie mixture followed by another layer of cheese.
  • Brush the top buns with a mixture of melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
  • Cover the assembled sliders with foil and bake for 15-16 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze tightly wrapped for up to 3 months.
