Preparation Instructions

  • Prepare Sugared Pecans: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the chopped pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir continuously until the syrup thickens and the pecans are dry and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • Mix the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh orange juice, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, maple syrup, dijon mustard, and ¼ teaspoon of salt. Mix well until fully combined. Give it another whisk before using.
  • Assemble the Salad: In a large serving bowl, toss the spring mix, orange slices, grapefruit slices, pomegranate arils, and the cooled pecans. Mix gently to combine all the flavors without bruising the fruits.
  • Dress and Serve: Just before serving, drizzle the dressing over the salad. Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors and textures.
