Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, 1 cup of milk, ½ cup of Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, ¼ cup of fresh lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of lime zest. Stir until smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture into jars or airtight containers, leaving some space at the top for the oats to expand—about ¾ full will do.
  • Seal the jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • When you're ready to enjoy, give the mixture a good stir to combine any settled ingredients.
  • Top each jar with 2 tablespoons of graham cracker crumbs. Optional: add fresh fruits or a dollop of whipped cream.
